Women Empower X (known as WEX) is the premier community and speaker training company for women entrepreneurs. What started as an event in South Florida in Fall of 2016 quickly grew into a worldwide movement reaching over 20,000 women in-person at our events, 1 million through our digital outlets, and to 40+ different countries virtually. Our focus is on equipping women with the knowledge and support to empower them to grow their business using their authentic voice.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER:
Alexa Carlin is an in-demand professional speaker, bestselling author, TV personality, and Founder & CEO of the Women Empower X.
At 17 she started her first company, at 21 she had a near-death experience and was given a 1% chance to live, today she uses her infectious energy and courageous spirit to empower women to turn their obstacles into opportunities and pursue their dreams.
She founded WEX in 2016 after noticing a need for diverse women to connect and collaborate in an atmosphere that empowered them to gain the courage to share not just what they do, but who they are. In 2021 Alexa landed a publishing deal for her book, Adaptable: How to Lead with Curiosity, Pivot with Purpose, and Thrive through Change.
Alexa Carlin has worked with Fortune Global 500 brands to create captivating and relatable content and has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Cheddar TV, FOX, ABC, CBS, TEDx and in Entrepreneur, Glamour Magazine, and Forbes among others.
